Ruel T. Stoessel, M.D., FACOG, founded Ruel T Stoessel, M.D.,P.A./Pre-Birth Centers of America. PBCA has flourished into a practice that has helped a vast number of women with a variety of prenatal needs.
Ruel T. Stoessel, M.D., completed his undergraduate training at City University of New York, receiving the high honor of Magna cum Laude. He attended medical school at the State University of New York at Stony Brook. His Residency in the field of Obstetrics and Gynecology was completed at the State University of New York at the Health Service Center/Kings County Hospital Center in Brooklyn. He then continued his perinatal training at Albert Einstein College of Medicine as a fellow in Maternal Fetal Medicine. Dr. Stoessel is board certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology specializing in Maternal Fetal Medicine.
Dr. Stoessel then accepted a position at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine as an assistant professor and the Jack D. Weiler Hospital, where he cared for high risk prenatal patients throughout Bronx, New York. In 1997 he relocated to Florida and has held positions as Obstetrical Director of the Regional Perinatal Intensive Care Center at St. Mary’s Medical Center and Maternal Fetal Medicine Specialist at Obstetrix Medical Group of Florida, St. Mary’s Medical Center. Dr. Stoessel is the Medical Director at Lawnwood Regional Hospital. He is also on staff at the Wellington Regional Medical Center, Palms West, and the Good Samaritan Medical Center.
In April of 2000, Dr. Stoessel founded Ruel T. Stoessel, M.D.,P.A/Pre-Birth Centers of America. Over the years, through his devotion to the patients and their obstetricians in the Palm Beach area, his practice has cared for significant number of women during the prenatal period. Under his leadership and guidance, PBCA now has three locations to help make specialized prenatal diagnosis and management easily accessible to all pregnant women in this area. Dr. Stoessel has been awarded the Distinguished Physician Award by the Florida Medical Association. His efforts and hard work has allowed RTS/PBCA to achieve accreditation by the American Institute of Ultrasound in Medicine.
Dr. Stoessel believes in the concept of “Caring for Our Future”. Unborn babies deserve to have the best chance of a good start in life. State of the art technologies and high quality prenatal diagnosis has allowed this concept to become a reality. Dr. Stoessel and his colleagues at PBCA will continue with this mission. He pledges to provide the best possible care to our children, for our future.
